Ways of Seeing Youth Art Initiative

Ways of Seeing is a youth art initiative, which will focus on the personal and professional skills of 15 – 19 year-olds youth from Inishowen.

This project will enable local youth to increase their understanding and appreciation of National artists, and exhibitions at Artlink Gallery. Throughout the 6-month project the youth will visit National art organizations, galleries, meet and collaborate with National artists and host their own exhibition at Artlink Gallery.

Supported by the Arts Council’s Young Ensembles Scheme.

The Introduction to Creative Industries project targets young people from Inishowen who have an interest in art, creativity and technology. The project will introduce the participants to the creative industries highlighting further education or employment.

This is a part-time project targeting 17 – 25 year olds. The course will contain modules in: Brainstorming, Page Layout, Photography & Image Manipulation, Graphic Design, Web Design and individual career progression sessions.
