Ireland has a rich culture of stained glass artists, whose work feature in churches, museums and galleries across the island and beyond, but not often outdoors.  This work depicts the celtic pagan calendar, one that may have been forgotten but is brought to life through artistic skill and the movement of natural light.

Tara Eileen Welch has been working with stained glass for the past 20 years from her home in Inishowen. In the last decade she had been making commercial pieces of small stained glass art to be sold at local markets, however with the global pandemic impacting on the closure of most of these markets she has had the opportunity to develop more sculptural, one off pieces.
