The human body is composed of trillions of cells which are the basic building blocks of all living things. Body parts are normally absent from conscious practice, this knowledge and experience is hidden on the inside.

“ON THE INSIDE” consists of three human cells created out of recycled and found materials displaying my fascination with the human body. Each piece is a nod to the Brat Bríde and Imbolc, the festival of fertility. Like a seed that is fertile and full of life, but that life is still hidden within, much like our cells are hidden on the inside.
