Mary McClelland is a Donegal based artist and Artlink studio holder in 2017. She creates images and objects in an attempt to capture the struggles, pains, joys, and beauties of human existence. Whether through a sculpture, installation, photo or video her objective is the same. She aims to express the sacred in the everyday, in a contemporary way, based on her own faith journeys. “Sundance”, based on the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, showcased photographs and testimonies of the witnesses, religious artefacts and original artwork produced by the artist.
Mary McClelland graduated in Visual arts practice in 2016 from IADT, Dunlaoghaire, Co. Dublin.
